Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Ministry strives to develop Men of Standards by fostering spiritual and personal growth. Men are equipped to be leaders in ministry at home, in church and in the community.
Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry serves as a dynamic arm of the ministry by teaching, training and empowering women to serve God, their homes, their community and the ministry. Women are empowered to lead and serve.
Young Adult Ministry
It is our vision to create Christ-like young people who are “on fire” and ready to help Bible Way Church of Sumter stand out and fulfill its vision of Transforming Lives. We strive to minister in the areas of spiritual self-esteem, education, and economic empowerment, with a message of deliverance, victorious living, and practical biblical application.
Teen Ministry
The mission of the Youth Ministry is to develop an understanding of the Word that you currently posses to Navigate your Now. Then grow your desire for more Word, so that you can Prepare for your Next. Building on basic biblical principles, to apply to both spiritual and secular issues in todays world.
Children's Ministry
The mission of the Children’s Ministry is to create an engaging environment, built around fundamental biblical teachings from the Word of God. We aspire to develop the minds of the children to grow in both knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry strives to reach the lost and minister to those in need through a variety of means including community/neighborhood outreach, Thanksgiving and Christmas Ministry Projects and the Back-to-School Project.
Guest Services
First impressions are lasting. This ministry serves in a first contact capacity to ensure that all persons, visitors and members alike, enter a people-friendly environment filled with love, smiles and kindness. It is this team’s goal to keep worshippers informed, directed and serviced prior to and after each service.
Media Ministry
This ministry serves as an extension of the church’s message of evangelism, discipleship and service. The ministry accomplishes this primarily through its website, social media and live streaming outlets.
Music Ministry
This ministry’s aim is to lead the congregation in praise and worship to God; to glorify God by ministering the message of the gospel and edifying the body of Christ through song.
Deacon Board
Our Deacon ministry serves as a group prepared to serve our church at anytime in anyway possible.
Ushers Ministry
Ushers help create an atmosphere of reverence that prepares people to hear and receive the Word of God. They work to maintain order before, during and after the service. Ushers assist the Pastor and parishioners, orchestrate movement during service and assist in receiving tithes and offering.
